Insert an illustration onto this page that shows the rule in use during a lab.  What would it look like if someone was practicing lab safety?  Here are the steps for creating a picture file that you can upload onto your safety page.

  1. Create an original ilustration.  Be sure and use bold colors...probably markers...so they will show up on the screen.
  2. Scan that picture and save it in the .jpg format.   Our school's scanner is in the computer next to Mrs. Lawson's office door.  If you need help, one of the library aids or Mrs. Lawson can help you.
  3. Save the illustration into your network folder so you can easily find it when you're ready to upload it.

Here are the directions for uploading a picture file onto your Lab Safety page.

  1. Find your page in the wiki and go to Edit mode.
  2. You'll see, in the right hand sidebar, a place to "Insert Links".  There are two tabs---"Pages" and "Images and file".  You'll want to click on "Images and files".
  3. You will be able to browse to your network folder by clicking the "Browse:" button.
  4. Find your picture file and click on the upload button.  You should see the name of your picture file show up in the list inside that "Insert links" sidebar.
